Does Barcode Safe issue GS1 barcode numbers?

No. Barcode Safe generates barcode images from the values you provide. GS1 barcode numbers must be obtained separately from GS1 or their licensed partners where required.

Can I use the barcode generator without creating an account?

Yes. The free barcode generator is available on the website without an account. Create an account when you want to save, organise, and manage your barcode library.

Which barcode formats are supported?

Barcode Safe supports EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, Code 39, and QR Code. These cover the most common product, packaging, logistics, and workflow labelling needs.

Which barcode format should I choose?

Can I download PNG, SVG, and PDF files?

Yes. All generated barcodes can be downloaded as PNG, SVG, or PDF from the free generator and from your saved barcode library.

Can I print my generated barcodes?

Yes. Download as PDF or SVG for the best print quality. PNG is also suitable for most label and packaging workflows.

Should I test a barcode before using it?

When should I upgrade?

Upgrade when you need higher saved-barcode limits, CSV or XLSX imports, bulk export, or team access for shared barcode management.

Can I cancel my subscription?
